The Men’s 20 km Individual and the Women’s 15 km Individual competitions were held today in Charlo, New Brunswick, along with several other categories for Youth, Junior, Masters and boys and girls.
Zina Kocher was in a class of her own, winning gold in a time of 51:38.5 with five penalties. Melanie Schultz took the silver but was 3:03.1 back with three penalties. The bronze went to Claude Godbout who was 3:49.3 back with four penalties.
The Men’s competition was won by Scott Perras in a time of 1:01:33.1 with three penalties. Matt Neuman won the silver, 17.1 seconds back with three penalties. Alberta’s Scott Gow, a junior competing in the Men’s category, won the bronze after finishing 21 seconds back with three penalties.
