Two Competitions, Two Wins for Tora Berger

Tora Berger continued her perfect start to the season with another victory in the Women’s Sprint competition today. Berger missed one shot in standing and fell on the final lap, but was still fast enough to beat out Olena Pidhrushna (one penalty, +16.9) and Olga Vilukhina (one penalty, +19.4).

ZIna Kocher landed in the top ten, finishing 46.2 seconds back with one penalty. She will be joined in tomorrow’s Pursuit by Susan Dunklee (43rd, four penalties, +1:51.5) and Rosanna Crawford (54th, three penalties, +2:07.6).

Other North American finishers were Megan Imrie  (79th, three penalties, +3:00.5), Sara Studebaker (81st, three penalties, +3:05.6), Annalies Cook (90th, six penalties, +3:43.6) and Lanny Barnes (98th, four penalties, +4:49.8).
