IBU Youth/Junior World Champs Preview

The IBU Youth/Junior World Championships get started tomorrow from Presque Isle, Maine. This event features the future stars of tomorrow, testing their skills against each other in Sprint, Pursuit, Individual and Relay competitions.

The IBU has issued a news release on the event, with details about how to watch the live-streaming for the event, and with a video postcard of Presque Isle and a tour of the 2.5km course.

The full schedule for the event is available on the IBU website. The event begins tomorrow with the Youth Women’s and Youth Men’s Sprint competitions. Here are the start lists for the Youth Women and the Youth Men.

There are 57 Youth Women and 64 Youth Men competing, including Canada’s Megan Bankes, Leilani Tam Von Berg, Danielle Vrielink, Emily Dickson, Aidan Miller, Pearce Hanna and Jules Burnotte, and America’s Mikaela Paluszek, Anna Kubek, Madeleine Grace Phaneuf, Siena Ellingson, Paul Everett, Sean Doherty, Brian Halligan and Kamran Husain.
