2015/2016 IBU World Cup Biathlon Pool

The Biathlon Blog’s IBU World Cup biathlon pool will be back for the 2015/2016 season…

The pool is free, and its easy to join. Here’s how it works.

Just pick one male athlete and one female athlete for each of the Sprint, Pursuit, Individual and Mass Start Cups, and one nation for the Men’s Relay, Women’s Relay and Mixed Relay Cups.

That is 11 picks in total; four women, four men, three nations.

The pool uses the IBU World Cup scores to determine the winner. At the end of the season the cup scores for each of your picks are added together. Whoever has the most points is the winner!

There is only one catch: you can’t pick an athlete or a nation more than once. For example, if you pick Darya Domracheva for the Women’s Sprint, you can’t pick her for anything else. And if you pick Russia for the Mixed Relay, you can’t pick Russia for the Men’s or Women’s Relay.

Need some help with your picks? Go to the IBU Datacenter page, click on “Cups” and you can see the World Cup scores from previous seasons.

I will update the pool on this page throughout the season so send me your name and where you are from for the standings.

Good luck!
