US Biathlon Names 2018-2019 High Performance and Development Teams

US Biathlon has named its High Performance and Development teams for the 2018-2019 season. With the retirement of Lowell Bailey and Tim Burke, the High Performance Men’s team is just 4 members, while the women’s team is similar to last year with Susan Dunklee returning to lead the team.

2018-2019 Biathlon Canada Registration Now Open

Club and Individual registration for the 2018-2019 biathlon season is now available on Biathlon Canada’s website at http://biathloncanada.ca/membership/

All athletes, coaches, officials, as well as those participating in biathlon programs at the club level are required to become registered participants of Biathlon Canada. When you register, you will also become a registered participants of the division (province or territory) that you select.

Biathlon Canada Names 2018-2019 National Teams

Biathlon Canada has announced its national teams for the 2018-2019 season.

There are three separate teams: the Senior National Team, the U24 National Development team, and the U20 National Development team.

The Senior National Team is comprised of 6 Men and 6 Women: Scott Gow, Christian Gow, Macx Davies, Nathan Smith, Carsen Campbell, Brendan Green, Rosanna Crawford, Emma Lunder, Sarah Beaudry, Megan Tandy, Megan Bankes and Nadia Moser.

The U24 National Development Team has 5 athletes: Trevor Kiers, Adam Runnalls, Emily Dickson, Leo Grandbois and Jules Burnotte.

The U20 National Development Team has 26 athletes (9 Men and 15 Women):
